On behalf of the Hall Committee and everyone who attended, thank you to Paul Mcloughlin, Elly Finn and Donna Devaney and all others involved for organising and hosting IT’S DISCOTIME triumph on May 4th! What a tremendous party!
Maestro DJ Paul master-minded a fantastic playlist: as the crowd ebbed and flowed, the music seemed to be choreographed to always ensure that the floor was alive with dancers unable to resist the beat, with the odd breather here and there! It was great to see so many enthusiastic disco dancers all night long.
Donna and Elly, or the Disco Divas as they are affectionately known, assisted Paul in transforming the Hall with lights and decorations to give it an authentic night-club vibe. The silver streamers behind the DJ deck and the light effects on the ceiling – and the glow sticks were all brilliant touches designed to create a party atmosphere!
The Hunters INN the Hall worked a treat and kept everyone well-oiled whilst Sue’s delicious pasties meant the energy levels never flagged! Very well organised and thanks to the Hunters Lodge team for getting involved.
Thanks too to all the other volunteers behind the scenes: David Carver in charge of handing out the pasties and Colin and Bronwen Thompson and Tim Carter on set-up and logistics!
