We are excited to share with the parish two events that will take place in the Village Hall during the weekend of the Coronation of King Charles and Queen Camilla.

On Friday the 5th of May there will be a free screening of The King’s Speech, with stunning performances from Colin Firth as King George VI and Geoffrey Rush as his speech therapist. Helena Bonham-Carter is also superb as the Queen.

If you would like to secure your free tickets please contact Dawn on 01803 732450, numbers will be limited to ensure that everybody has a good view. Ice-cream, soft drinks and popcorn will be on-sale and you can bring your own drinks/wine/beer.

People and Places Exhibition

In the Village Hall over the Bank Holiday weekend (Saturday and Sunday) , you will find a celebration of our village community through film, photos, and pictures. The exhibition is being curated by Donna Devaney who we know has approached several community members for items to include in the collection.

Do come and have a look around and maybe catch a glimpse of something that you have enjoyed in the community over recent years.
